About Us

At Samvaad, we turn stories into strategy, building thoughtful, culturally grounded communication that shapes perception and creates change.

Samvaad Nepal was established to bridge a critical gap in Nepal’s development landscape: the lack of strategic, people-centered communication that connects programs with the communities they aim to serve.

While development efforts continue to expand in scale and ambition, many fall short of their intended outcomes due to insufficient dialogue. Samvaad—meaning “dialogue” in Nepali—reflects our belief that communication is not just a tool but a catalyst for transformation.

We are a women-led team of professionals from the fields of development, behavioral science, media, and communication. Our founding team brings together nearly 50 years of combined experience in strategic communication, behavior

With experience across national campaigns, humanitarian response, and grassroots mobilization, we design and deliver communication strategies that inform, engage, and empower. Our approach is grounded in empathy, cultural relevance, and evidence-based practices.
